Go to bdswotvisualizer.link on desktop. The complete website is completely open to the public, no login required. It will be the best to browse the website in a desktop environment, it is not mobile friendly yet.
You see the Bangladesh map, swot river reaches where color depicts the available number of records. All the orange circle are the validation locations where the comparison between BWDB data and SWOT data can be visualized. You can toggle between the layers from the upper right corner. You can also switch between the basemap layers from the lower right corner.Zoom and pan to your area of interest. If you hover your cursor on any layers, you can see some useful information about the layer.
If you click on any of the river reaches, a chart will be pop-up to show the timeseries of the river height extracted from the SWOT satellite.
If you click on any of the orange circle markers, a chart will be pop-up to show two timeseries of the river. Those are, 1) height extracted from the SWOT satellite (red color) and 2) height measured and collected from BWDB (blue color).
All the charts displayed in the website are dynamic with multiple functionalities. If you hover the cursor on the chart, date and value is shown. You can also zoom in and out inside the charts. If you press and select particular time window, you can zoom to that time window. Use the time slider to pick dates and compare recent observations with past records.
All the charts and relevant data made public in the website. From the upper right corner, there is a sandwitch menu. If you click on that, you see multiple options. You can open the chart in a full screen, print it, download as a PNG, SVG, JPG.
The app auto‑updates with new SWOT satellite passes as they become available. It also update the BWDB measurements once those are made publicly available in the BWDB website.
